Instructions and Help about Clia number

Hi, this is Gavin with Walker Tech Solutions. In this video, I'm going to demonstrate how to set up the CLIA number in Medisoft. This number is used to bill laboratory information on your claims, and it is required to have a CLIA number. I will show you how to set it up. To begin, go to the "Lists" section and then select "Facilities". Once there, find your facility on the list. If it's not in the list, you will have to create it by filling out your facility's address information. After that, go to the "Facility IDs" tab. If you don't already have an entry in this section, click on "New". Otherwise, you will need an entry for all or have overrides by insurance carrier or insurance class. Since I already have an entry here, I will click on "Edit". In the edit menu, fill out your facility's NPI number. Make sure to check the option to send facility on claim. Additionally, select the facility ID qualifier, whether it's a facility or one of the other available options. Finally, click on "CLIA" and fill in your CLIA number. This is how you set up CLIA to send on your claims in Medisoft. This is Gavin with Walker Tech Solutions.
